S4.2: Integrating an application with several internal and external applications by using SOA

Use the following PlanIT Advisors to develop a simple IT plan:  

• Enterprise Modeller to build a simple model of the existing company. Only select the business functions (BFs) that will participate in the integration project. 
• Application Advisor to document the application plan for the applications that will participate in the integration project.   

Use the following AIM (Architecture and Integration Module) Advisors to determine how the applications will be integrated:

• Business Problem Explorer to define the target application and the participating applications that interface with the target application.
• Intelligent Requirement Generator to generate requirements for the target application
• Integrated Architecture Advisor to develop a detailed integration-in-place architecture based on SOA   
• Integrated Solution Advisor to evaluate the  suggested architecture
• Reiterate, if needed, for other applications that will need to be integrated.
